This quilted natural printed vest/ body warmer is size UK 12. I have made, printed and naturally dyed the fabric with lots of care and time using all-natural dyes. It is made from 100% cotton on the main and lining of the vest. Sleeve trimmings are made and naturally dyed from 100% silk. This quilted natural printed vest is made from machine and hand sewing. It is possible to wear on both sides as one side is dyed and the other printed.

There are imperfections due to the nature of the printing, quilting and sewing process. Polyester wadding is added between layers to add insulation to the vest. All our products are made using the best quality fabrics, natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process.

The leaves are foraged and then printed locally. Each piece is produced with a lot of love and can take up to 3 days from the start to finish. Scouring, mordanting, and preparing the dyes out of dried powdered/ chipped barks. Dyeing and printing after which is it washed and ironed. That’s only the time frame for printing the fabric. Sewing and quilting time is not added hence the price.
