This is a botanical leaf-printed bag using 100% wool and cotton as the outer shell and handles. This process takes time to print, as the cloth needs to be scoured to absorb natural prints and dyes, and metallic salts need to be prepared ahead of time. The process can take up to 2-3 days. The leaves on this print are sustainably from the garden or forage.
Then it is sewn/ made into a shoulder bag. The lining of the bag is made from 100% cotton which is all printed and dyed with natural dye and materials. It has smudges, creases and uneven dye on the leather as part of the natural printing process. It also has a small decorative pocket inside of the lining. The inside of the bag also has a pocket.
This botanical leaf-printed bag is made using quality natural fabrics (as natural dyes will only absorb onto naturally occurring fibres and materials), natural dyes and natural leaves. Creases, smudges, and dots are all part of the expected results of the natural/eco-printing process. There are also imperfections in the bag’s making. It’s got stiffening material in this bag to give it shape. This bag in our opinion is a great bag to use all year round with its light subtle grey and red colours.
Dimensions 30 cm x 20 cm (approx). Bottom of bag is about 12cm Handles 28 cm—inner pocket 11cm x 11cm (approx).
