Here is a blog post on an Italian La mia boutique sewing magazine review. I have been buying into various types of sewing magazine lately. Just wanted to try something different besides Burda style magazine. Also, I just want to find out what out there in the current market that offers a sewer. While some like buying individual sewing patterns I like the magazine as I can browse thru them and choose the pattern I would like to sew. La mia boutique is another one I found recently while on holiday in Italy.

When buying sewing magazine try to source locally and compare the prices. As imported or foreign magazine can cost more than double the price as one would buy it locally. This magazine cost 5.50 euros in Italy as compared to the UK £12!! Alternatively, subscribe for a subscription directly from the publisher it is much cheaper that way.
It is possible to buy this magazine online and get it delivered to you worldwide from newsstand. If you are based in the UK they do next day delivery. I have bought another magazine from them and their service is superb. It is also possible to contact La mia boutique the publisher themselves to order an issue or subscription.
La Mia boutique sewing magazine review
There are a few reviews on La Mia Boutique magazine online. It’s quite different from what you find in most other sewing magazines. Although it does cater for most ages there is a bit of revealing, tight-fitting styles. Probably a bit more for the younger sewers. Some call the patterns with an edge. High-end Italian design not quite. Personally for me if I am much younger yes some of the tight-fitting styles might appeal to me. However, it is always possible to alter the pattern. As I said there are plenty of other patterns to appeal to the others.
If you living or in Italy, there are different versions of la mia boutique magazine that you can get hold of. The styles are done in the same format.
I have made a top from the current magazine. It turn pretty nice. As I had a bit of fabric I made it into a dress instead of a blouse. For sizing it’s different from Burda style. I just choose the closest size that fits me. If you ever stuck on then pattern instructions as it’s all in Italian there is point and translate on google translate app.
For another sewing magazine review here is one on fibre mood magazine. Will post the link when I can. In the meantime have a look at my sewing tips and tutorials like how to cut on the bias for a dress.
