Here is a blog post on haberdashery/ sewing shops online. Nowadays, it’s so easy to buy haberdashery/ sewing supplies without having to leave the house at all. This is all down to the widespread of internet online shopping. I do shop online as it saves me so much time rather than having to make the journey to go to the shops. Sadly, as a result, many small haberdashery businesses that don’t embrace online shopping have shut down.
While it’s true the prices are much cheaper in the shops. However, there is also less selection available as compared to online shops.

I live in the United Kingdom specifically London. So most of the shops here are based in the UK. Delivery is much cheaper if one is buying from their own country as delivery charges is a lot less compared to abroad.
John Lewis
John Lewis is a great all round store that stocks a wide selection of haberdashery/ sewing plus craft supplies online. They sell most sewing supplies and patterns online. However, you will need to spend £30 for free delivery to your local Waitrose.
Minerva crafts
Minerva crafts is an online haberdashery/ sewing shop warehouse based somewhere in North of England. They also sell on eBay. As a result prices are quite competitive compared to your local shop. They do a big range of supplies from patterns, fabrics and haberdashery. However, there are mixed reviews about their service. Personally, I have shop haberdashery from on eBay and their service is excellent.
eBay
Good old eBay is a great place to look for haberdashery supplies. They have lots of sellers on board. Personally I tend to go for sellers that are only based in UK than abroad. As their delivery can take sometime.
I am there are also plenty of other online haberdashery shops. However, I just tend to use the same ones all over and over again. As Long they provide a great service I’ll be back there again. I have in the past shop online for fabrics here a link to my blog on buying fabrics online.
